There are many apps which allow you to create your own story. Some are more open-ended than others, some
offer ready-made templates in which you can insert your own texts, sounds or
pictures. Some apps come with no story templates and you can just record, write and
draw whatever you would like.
The Our Story comes with no story-templates: children and adults can create their own templates and make these
“personal” or “personalized”. The difference between the two has important
practical consequences and is worthy of more scrutiny in wider educational
